We recently took a week-long trek, first to see our boys over in South Carolina and visit their university, and then up to Virginia for our first visit since we moved away in 2019.
What a blessed and busy time we had! God knows exactly what we need.
So, here come some pictures! (I tried to not overdo it, I really did. But…)
Although I’m not much of a crafty mom, I do love tie dye. Olivia received a tie dye craft kit at a Christmas gift exchange and so we took our opportunity for a little mid-winter crafty fun! This kit was for dying a bandana and three scrunchies.
Being in a new area of the country means finding new places to explore! We all piled in the van recently to venture out to Fugate Woods. So often in life, simple things bring the most joy.
The photographers happily photographed whatever struck their fancy, the little ones happily ran and climbed, Micah happily hummed a tune, Steve patiently (and happily) pushed the stroller the whole way, and we all hungrily devoured a watermelon at a clearing while the boys tossed a football.
